At last

I know, I know. Many of you skeptics out there said this day would never come, in spite of all my promises. But Ha!

While I am here, I may as well add a couple more cute pictures of our cute baby, Kate.

A few pictures during "tummy time". Jenny made this awesome purple tie-died onsie and Kate loves it. You just don't find purples like that for babies. Thanks, Jen!

Zeus and Kate enjoying Tummy time together. (Don't worry, Moms. Mike has a good hold on Zeus.)

Mike and I saw this onsie on sale at Old Navy a couple of days before Kate was born and just couldn't resist. And as you can see, Kate pretty much only wears onsies, so it works out well for everyone!I just asked Mike who he thinks Kate looks like in this picture and he said "an alien". I must admit, I can see where he is coming from, but not really fair to her adorableness.

Yes, I still stand by my comment. She does look a bit extraterrestrial in that last image. But I must say she's the cutest alien I've ever seen.

So anyway, I love your blog honey! Can't wait for more! Love you!

Its a bad angle for heaven sake. SHE IS NO ALIEN. She misses me is what it is. We need to come visit. It has been almost a week since I kissed her little cute head.

By george, you've done it. I, for one, could not be more thrilled. Did you know that I save the blogs as my dessert every day after I've done my chores and homework? Nerd-alert. I know. But it's really true. But this morning, I broke the rules and checked the blogs first... I must have had a feeling. It's probably because my last dream before waking was about being pregnant and having a daughter and she and Kate were best friends. JUST A DREAM. JUST A DREAM.

Yay LYDIA!!! I am so happy to see you in the bloggin' world. And Kate looks so dang chic in that purple onsie!
I cannot get over how beautiful Kate is...I thought she was cute before, but man, she is just getting prettier every day. Thanks for the pics...they made my day.

I love it!! How exciting. I will add you to my favorites list right...now. There.
I love all the pictures of Kate. She is so beautiful!
I know what you mean about onesies--Rachel was a fellow summer baby and didn't wear anything but a onesie for the first few months. I didn't think anything of it until I was getting a gallon of milk at the store and a well-meaning (rude) lady bent over the shopping cart and baby-talked to Rachel, "I bet you're freezing! Your Mommy needs to put more clothes on you!"
So anyway... keep the posts coming! I am LOVING looking at blogs lately and I can't wait to get your updates and cute pictures. Good job!

HOORAY!!! I am just so excited! This is so exciting! Lyd, thank you for starting this blog and promptly posting pictures of beautiful Kate! Jenny is right, she is getting prettier every day. I so happy that I get to have this little glance of her since I can't visit very much right now. I'm intending that my visits will become more frequent when I'm finished with school stuff...only 3 more weeks!! Yippee!

P.S. Natalie I think your dream is a sign (like when Nick dreamed about you)...maybe you should buy an EPT? Just a suggestion. (wink wink)

I'm with Shanna, Nat. (Although I don't know who Nick is.) I don't think I had my first dream about being pregnant until I was pregnant...thinking...remembering.... Nope, that's a lie. I think I had my first dream about being pregnant when I was on my mission, so I guess you're probably ok. But when you do decided to, you know, get pregnant and stuff, I hear the tests from the dollar stores are just as "error proof." But keep that little tip on the DL, if you know what I mean...

Thanks girls. True friends are what it's all about. And don't worry, I've got a whole stockpile of the EPT's. Remember the bridal showers and the buckets of helpfully clever gifts? I'm set for the next 5 kids. I'd also like to formally announce that I have no announcements. ;D

Yeah, way to go, Lydia! Grandmas love pictures, and these blogs are the best! I love the purple onesie - you're right, you can't buy that color for babies, so Kate is really stylin'! I can hardly wait to snuggle that sweet little doll baby again - it's been too many days... Hey, how 'bout tonight?!

(And thanks for the reassurance about Zeus - you could read my mind!) :)

Denise! We would love to have a visit. Really almost any time works for me, but how does, oh, Sunday afternoon sound? What time do you guys get out of church? We are done at 2:00 so seriously feel free to come by.

Sorry again about the comment on emily's blog. I do want to check yours out...I am sure you have AMAZING pictures of Gavin on there. I need you to show me how to do some of that fancy computer scrapbooking you do.

That invitation goes for everyone, BTW. All are welcome to come visit anytime...but maybe not everyone all on Sunday at 2:00...
